Anderson was last; Anthony Vaccarello starts in September — there is the core lineup designed by Donatella Versace. As the “core” distinction indicates, this fall group was a commercial mix of Versus tropes, here divided into four themes for four deliveries: sporty, collegiate, the surprisingly understated Mod tailoring, and rock ’n’ rollers.

The subdivisions, all done in his-and-hers versions, covered the Versus bases of leather, Baroque prints and bomber jackets. There were things to like but this lineup ultimately felt like what it is: filler between the more flashy capsule lines.
