Creative director Wil Beedle delivered another strong collection for AllSaints’ cool, metropolitan kids.
He found inspiration on the edgy East London streets around his atelier. The ever-evolving collages of posters decorating the neighborhood walls were reference for the arty print on the front of a sleeveless silk-and-wool turtleneck matched with a knee-length leather skirt, while grids of the city’s skyline were reproduced on a textured asymmetric silk dress.
While pants and skirts were cut in AllSaints’ usually slim silhouettes, the best outerwear was delivered in generous volumes. A bonded motorcycle coat came in raw-cut leather and a collarless shearling overcoat featured leather inserts on the shoulders.
Beedle filtered the same idea into his men’s lineup. Here, graphic details were found in leather stripes on a cable-knit sweater worn under a clean double-breasted coat. For a more functional look, there was a boxy wool button-front single-pocket jacket with leather inserts.
