“I invented a story about a heartbroken Parisian girl who moves to Nashville to become a country music star,” said designer Calla Haynes of her charming collection.

Her girl has quite a fun, playful wardrobe — Haynes started by associating Southern dressing à la Memphis, Tenn., (very Dolly Parton in the Sixties) with Memphis, the Italian design movement, and drew graphic interpretations of her chow chow dog, Lilybear, in such style. The stylized pooch appeared on knitwear, jackets, shirts and a fit-and-flare shirtdress paired with a beautiful countrified plaid blanket that was belted into the look.
