Va-va-va-voom has become the designers’ niche but it was their less-conspicuous looks that were best here: a terrific silk bowed shirt and below-the-knee, high-waisted pencil skirt, as well as a chic double-breasted jacket with a swingy silk skirt. In this case, it looked like more was indeed more.
