Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen aren’t ones for grandiose inspirations. They like beautiful clothes that are easy to wear and have some personality, so for fall they took over a classic car showroom in downtown Manhattan and let the clothes do most of the talking.

Masculine suiting was a starting point, which they interpreted with a navy-and-red school-boy striped fabric for blazers both short and long. Apropos of the latest New York snowstorm, there was also a furry boyfriend coat in what the duo called a “teddy bear woven,” along with several midi skirts and cropped pants that looked great with the loafers the Olsens showed — and would also work well with snow boots.
