Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig took an imaginative journey to the Scottish Highlands for their beautiful fall collection.

Traditional highland dress was the theme for a range of opulent evening gowns worked in a rich palette recalling “billowing bonfires,” as Craig said backstage before the show. The inspiration came through, but it wasn’t overdone.

A pretty pleated saffron gown in silk chiffon had embroidered flowers and pearls on the bodice, while a flared red Chantilly frock with metallic accents was partially veiled by a chiffon tone-on-tone drape.

Chapman and Craig also offered a luxurious take on knitwear, interweaving lace and fur in a gray sweater over a tulle skirt with feather and lace appliqués.
