For fall, Mathieu Mirano indulged his taste for contrasts by combining strong, urban outfits with sartorial silhouettes.
“I was inspired by sexuality mixed with traditional,” said the designer backstage before the show.
The result was sexy, powerful and pretty. For starters, he sent out a bonded leather asymmetrical zippered trench, a suede sleeveless motorcycle jacket over a matching skirt with a side zipper, along with a range of body-conscious dresses with leather inserts on the bodice.
Then, the lineup moved into a more classic territory, with well-cut tailored suits and feminine frocks and separates, such as an oversize turtleneck sweater matched with a textured knit pencil skirt and a jumbo arctic fox fur jacket, all worked in a delicate lilac.
