Naeem Khan presented fall versions of his high-voltage red-carpet looks.

There were lots of long, leopard-print dresses and sheaths, some shown stark, other with ostrich feathers or beading. Aside from that pattern, Khan worked in a palette of black, white, silver and radiant jewel tones.

When the designer liked a color, shape and detail, he repeated the motif on both cocktail dresses and gowns — with embellishment on just about everything.

The most elegant in show were the least predictable: the solid-black openers with placed golden filigré embroidery such as the satin coat-T-shirt-skirt combo that was simply chic.
