The Art Institutes selected 13 students and recent graduates to present a glimpse of their collections in a show held at Lincoln Center.

Standouts included Anna Charest’s creations. She incorporated a maritime-military-theme with a sailor’s rope motif on a fitted dress and a cropped cape over a pleated miniskirt, all worked in military-green fabrics.

California native Christopher Maracha delivered the most convincing men’s wear, filled with skater looks and urban references. The designer gave a twist to basic activewear with sheer details that also appeared on a striped sweatshirt over leather Bermuda shorts.
