Before launching his 99%IS line two years ago, Bajowoo (he goes by the single moniker) designed costumes for South Korean punk bands. His fall show had a postapocalyptic mood heightened by the foil headpieces and hoods that obscured his models’ faces.

Beneath the studs, oversize zippers and safety pins was a well-tailored collection of trenchcoats, motorcycle jackets and slim utility pants. Four of the designer’s coats were done in collaboration with Mackintosh, including a chic toggle style and trenches streaked with silver hardware.

As for the boldest looks, there was a leather blazer paved in brass studs, an apron loaded with so many safety pins that it resembled medieval chainmail and a shirt covered in clip-on tiles, each one bearing the phrase, “I am 99% from 1%.”
