LIE SANGBONG RTW Fall 2015

With a nod to minimalism and simplicity, Lie Sang Bong played with clean lines and shapes.

This season, Lie Sang Bong collaborated with Sun K. Kwak, a New York-based artist known for her three-dimensional space drawings constructed entirely of masking tape, to transform the runway into a work of art. The background was the perfect setting for Lie’s fall looks. With a nod to minimalism and simplicity, the designer played with clean lines and shapes, but in interesting ways: a double-breasted peplum jacket, an asymmetric draped trench and plenty of cropped trousers. Lie’s outerwear shone, in particular the wool plaid shearlings and a jacquard topper with leather sleeves.
