Sophie Theallet RTW Fall 2015

Sophie Theallet found her inner gypsy for fall.

Sophie Theallet found her inner gypsy for fall. “It’s about the freedom; it’s more the way of thinking,” she explained during a preview of her sultry collection. “Nothing bohemian.”

The first look, a deep-brown, high-neck leather dress with a shot of hot pink and a ruffled hemline, set the tone for the rest of the daywear pieces, done in jewel hues: vibrant patterned cashmere sweaters with leather and guipure lace accents, chic tailoring and plenty of ruffles. Moving into evening, Theallet emphasized fluid dresses and skirts slit up to there worn with high-neck peplum blouses. A pair of Oscars-worthy shimmering gold dresses concluded the show, and a tailored blue suit in metallic blue and gold jacquard added a little rock ’n’ roll to the sexy, feminine lineup.
