Hong Hong, with its neon lights and its vibrant nightlife scene, served as inspiration for Vivienne Tam’s fall collection. There was an eclectic feel running through the lineup, which was infused with an energetic vibe. An urban attitude was evident in the jacquard bomber jackets, the asymmetric patchwork dresses and the black vegan-leather leggings, which were draped for a crushed effect. The asymmetric plissé skirts with metallic threads were trimmed with lace details, while metallic insets and sequined patterns created light effects on clothes’ surfaces. Mannish fabrics with a sartorial feel were crafted into patchwork pants, as well as chic overcoats, while a range of draped dress, including a red velvet style, added a touch of quintessential femininity to the collection.
