In his first collaboration with Victorinox (the firm responsible for the Swiss Army Knife), Christopher Raeburn used decommissioned military stocks of uniform and parachute fabrics, sleeping bag outers, cotton bed sheets and army blankets for his coed outdoor collection. The English designer deconstructed the surplus pieces to create a capsule of eight looks which included a captain’s coat, an officer’s parka and a parachute hoodie. While the shapes were familiar, Raeburn had fun with the details — linings, labels and even the hangers on which they were shown — making this pairing one to watch.
