Volume and proportion are always favorites for Duckie Brown’s Steven Cox and Daniel Silver, who this season showed lots of low-slung, multipleated pants in gray flannel and charcoal herringbone. Other pants featured a wrapped flange of fabric that created a skirt effect, offset by the duo’s heritage Ludgate footwear created in collaboration with Florsheim. Knits in cashmere or wool had elongated sleeves to accentuate the draped emphasis of the collection, while one eye-catching sweatshirt was fashioned entirely from thousands of pearls. Rich fabrics were abundant, including nubby tweed jackets in multicolored fabrics that the designers described as “bruised.”
