This celebration of sartorial craftsmanship and old-world elegance employed a rich landscape of fabrics from traditional European mills. Presented on mannequins at Milan’s Museum of the Risorgimento, the collection included a range of coats and jackets, silk foulards in ancient Indian designs spilling from the pockets. Highlights included handsome tuxedos in printed velvet made in Lyon, France, and a series of richly colored overcoats in Hungarian alpaca dotted with leather buttons made in Holland. The label also introduced a vintage-looking selection of handmade women’s looks inspired by the men’s line, including checked wool blousons and overcoats with defined waists.
