Having just completed a short stint as a costume designer at the Opéra Garnier in Paris, the Belgian fashion maverick flexed his theatrical muscles, parading a weird combination of conservative sartorial styles mixed with glitzy geometrical patterns that were stitched to the garments, including suits, bathrobe-like coats and classic sweaters. Though a fleet of sparkling platform shoes reminiscent of the disco era was a curious sight, the artfully colored knitwear had charm.
