Danish designer Astrid Andersen is known for her high-octane take on streetwear staples, and this season was no exception. Andersen worked her macho, sports-influenced silhouettes in unexpected fabrics such as rich satins, textured faux fur and delicate Sophie Hallette lace. An oversize football shirt was done in turquoise and white faux fur à la the Miami Dolphins, while slouchy track pants came in shiny mustard satin, and an ankle-length fur parka was done in panels of gray, white and black, with “Astrid” branding emblazoned in black fur at the hem.

While some of Andersen’s looks veered toward challenging — such as a shiny black leotard top worn with calf-length satin pants — the designer’s focused vision packed a punch.
