Taking inspirations from the Wild West, Phillip Lim sent out a pack of midnight cowboys. The designer reinterpreted the theme with sleek denim tailoring and ultralight leather combos comprised of Western shirt jackets and matching bottoms.
Slim riding trousers and lounge pants from either raw denim or what he called “goldmine”-colored lambskin came accessorized with either funky leg warmers or printed panels, both of which brought to mind rustic cowboy boots made to withstand any weather.
Curly mohair and beautifully pigmented twill parka capes boasted asymmetric cuts, further adding to the casual theme. There was also plenty of knitwear, including colored, bulky turtlenecks with ginger, chocolate and mustard as their prime hues.
