For his sophomore collection for Issey Miyake Men, Yusuke Takahashi tapped a mineral theme with batik patterns inspired by magma, and intriguingly textured fabrics, such as a stone gray powder-bleached Tencel.

He took those metallic inspirations in a more futuristic direction with reversible outerwear that featured a metallic green lining. Best of all were the raver-era looks featuring bold prints plastered top to toe, including a swirling black-and-orange pattern that brought to mind a volcano erupting at night.
