Robert Geller Men’s RTW Fall 2015

There were two separate stories at the Robert Geller show.

There were two separate stories at Robert Geller’s fall show. The first centered around a 1920s gentleman, full of rounded-shoulder, softly constructed coats and high-waisted pants, some of them with suspenders. The second story was full of athletic references, such as striped sweatpants, oversize T-shirts and even a cropped bomber.

There were definitely good moments — a silky striped robe worn as a coat over a matching lounge shirt and scarf, as well as a gray flannel suit with cropped pants. The melancholy and romantic feeling that we’ve come to expect from Geller was still present, but the two different stories diluted the message.
