Todd Lynn Men’s RTW Fall 2015

After a seven-year hiatus, Todd Lynn relaunched his men’s wear collection last spring and brought it back to the catwalk for fall-winter 2015.

After a seven-year hiatus, Todd Lynn relaunched his men’s wear collection last spring and brought it back to the catwalk for fall-winter 2015, showing it alongside his women’s collection, which he told WWD he will not show separately in February during women’s fashion week.

It was a sleek outing, drawing on military and tuxedo references and executed in a palette of black, acid green, navy, white and khaki. The silhouette was typically narrow, with three-quarter length coats teamed with slim trousers whose twisting, contrasting side seams elicited a motocross effect.

Adaptability was the big story here. One women’s tuxedo jacket had sleeves that could be detached via its epaulettes, while another had a shawl collar that turned into a fringed evening scarf. Elegant military field coats could be unzipped into capes and long blue shearling coats could be worn fur in or out.
