Innovative fabrics were utilized to stylish effect at downtown men’s wear label Buckler, such as cargo pants and double-breasted blazers made from chintzed linen — the fabric is sent through tight rollers to impart a subtle sheen — or dropped-crotch shorts fashioned from fleece. Some shirts were subtly decorated with a barely discernible camouflage pattern, and dandified jackets and blazers were adorned with thin chains inspired by Victorian watch fobs.
