Stefan Miljanic cleverly resolved his brand concept — based on the early industrial era — and the need to make it light and fun. Inspired by the Pan Am Clipper voyages at the dawn of luxury air travel, he imagined privileged young men landing on a remote Pacific island, outfitted in casual blazers and fine sweaters, leather duffels in hand. Soon they had the unbuttoned look of beachcombers, with everything washed and rolled up, even the leather jackets. Utility jackets, camp shirts (some with aloha prints), faded jeans and twill shorts added up to a perfect weekend wardrobe.
