“Shine on” was Sophia Kokosalaki’s mantra this season for her terrific collection. “I was thinking a lot about light and reflection,” she noted postshow, which translated into lots of metallic leather — be it second-skin flares in silver python or the croc-embossed mini worn with a shimmery sweater and two-tone cape. There was a sporty element in the form of athletic shorts and Neoprene that Kokosalaki fashioned into great short-sleeve tops.

For men, the designer went in much of the same direction, but it was the tailored pieces that were worth noting as much for the sleek cuts of suit jackets and slim-leg pants (in fabric or leather) as for the zippers and piping that rimmed the seams on blazers and tops.
