For his “Meet Me at the Black Rock Desert” show, Omar Kashoura took his beatnik poet from last season and sent him to the Burning Man festival. “I really wanted to push something that was really me,” said the designer, whose models often sported beards much like the designer’s. The desert inspiration was evident in the palette of dusty neutrals. Kashoura showed off luxurious, chunky, patterned knitwear and a dapper, cream wool suit that had a roughed-up, already-pilling look to it. There were plenty of well-cut, traditional styles, too, including a navy jacket and crisp white shirts with small round collars for his festival-goer’s workaday life.
