Designed by Sid Bryan, Joe Bates, and Cozette McCreery, this collection harnessed the spirit of unrest that swept through London during the riots last summer. Models — their faces covered with masks or elaborate headpieces — stalked the runway in hoodies, cropped baseball pants with sporty side panels, and knitted biker-like jackets with tabs and buckles. Even the prints were the picture of chaos, depicting damaged phone booths and shop fronts, and hoodie-clad youths gathered in groups with their bicycles. “That’s where the sportswear came into it. Because every single image that you saw in the media showed rioters in sportswear,” said Bates.
