This traditional English brand riffed on wardrobe staples such as the trench, the tuxedo and the double-breasted suit. Creative director Filippo Scuffi whipped up trenches in khaki with bright orange details — and vice-versa—and cuffed his tuxedo trousers to reveal a healthy flash of ankle. Double-breasted suits — in khaki or light gray – had shorter, cuffed trousers, higher buttons, and a slim fit. This collection worked best when Scuffi stuck to basics, and fell flatwhen he started experimenting. A sleeveless trench? A barely-there capelet with long sleeves? Scuffi needs a ticket to London — presto — to experience the weather in all its soggy glory.
