Inspired by the baroque period and the culture of Brazil’s Japanese community, there were zippered terry sweaters stitched with metallic gold floral designs; canvas biker jackets inset with panels of swirling black and white florals; and cut-off sweat pants embroidered with a filigree motif. Apart from the odd misstep — such as skinny floral print pants stitched with bandage-like panels at the knees — the lineup had a luxurious and insouciant feel.
