Humberto Leon and Carol Lim took their cues from the Jungle Jap boutique that put Kenzo on the map in Paris in the Seventies — along with the actual jungles of South East Asia. To wit: Models journeyed through the vast Maison du Judo sporting microscopic yellow and black camouflage prints on silk shorts and shirts, while a blurred leopard print was splashed on baggy silk pants and done in panels on a mustard-colored anorak. As a calming contrast came tailored Bermuda shorts and laid-back suits in shades of grayish blue, khaki and stone. Witty touches — such as a roaring gold tiger embroidered onto a sweatshirt — underlined the sense of fun the designers have injected into the label.
