“Forever Young” could have been the title of the MSGM collection, which was an ode to Nineties teenage culture. Mixing up references to the cool boys of cult TV show “Beverly Hills 90210” with a more rebellious skater inspiration, MSGM creative director Massimo Giorgetti delivered a playful lineup focused on wearable pieces with a comfortable fit, while showing at Pitti Uomo as a featured designer. In keeping with the brand’s DNA, Giorgetti indulged in prints. They spanned from the floral digital patterns of cotton T-shirts and shirts to a new camouflage motif mixed with exotic skins’ prints giving an edgy look to a pair of slim pants worn with a suede biker jacket and on a fluid trench coat paired with graphic short pants. Giorgetti also tie-dyed a plethora of pieces, including a sporty nylon hooded sweatshirt and a pair of cotton trousers worn with a mesh color-blocked tank top showing a maxi version of the college uniforms-inspired MSGM logo.
