After a scenic road trip up the Pacific Coast Highway, Trina Turk found inspiration in laid-back costal towns and little surf shops. Working in sun-bleached colors, Turk played with Mod-inspired Pop Art florals and grid patterns on long beachy dresses and sexy swimwear. She also worked with fun jacquards — most noteworthy was a square pattern on a boxy cropped top and skirt. For those who don’t live life on the beach, there were cool leather vests, a mixed-media sweatshirt and a chambray jumpsuit.

Turk also launched a shoe collection this season, although she only showed two versions in her presentation: an easy flat and a mule with a Lucite heel. There will be 21 styles in all.
