In a novel take on summer’s perennial nautical theme, the John Smedley spring collection subverted the traditional Breton stripe with a palette ranging from persimmon orange to maritime blue.

A new dip dye technique was employed which stripped the color from the lower section of garments for a graduated effect, while a blazer/cardigan hybrid added a further contemporary twist.
