Mexican architect Luis Barragán was the inspiration behind Oliver Spencer’s spring collection. His palette was rooted in blue tones — from ink and indigo to sky and chambray — with contrasts of yellow ochre, rust and red. Working with technical linens, heavy jersey, nylon and cotton twill, he showed a collection that riffed on Barragán’s signature colorblocking. Among the standouts were a rust suede bomber jacket layered over a navy shirt, and a pair of narrow ochre trousers that ended just above the ankle.
