Making its debut in the city that’s home to Savile Row, Tiger of Sweden staked its claim on the international suit market with its motto: “A different cut.”

What stormed down the runway looked familiar and current: Trim, youthful tailoring worn in an offhand, streetwise way with leather sneakers, caps and plenty of attitude. The vests, black leather and baseball stripes were nods to the stylized gangs battling for a dystopian New York in the 1979 thriller “The Warriors.”

Until recently focused on expansion in Scandinavia, 103-year-old Tiger is now pushing into new turf, including France and the United States.
