Andrea Pompilio’s relaxed tailoring looked youthful and fresh with roomy one-pleat carrot pants and three-button blazers. Playful layering via pleated, apronlike elements added movement to elongated white and denim shirts, while cropped sweaters matched with baggy Bermudas had a dynamic flair. The color palette was as good as it gets for summer: sand, bleached yellow, blue and burgundy.
But the collection, while street smart, at times felt gimmicky. There were studs on the collar, glittering appliqués and large grommets punched into most of the looks.
