Sergio Corneliani hosted a garden party at Milan’s Rotonda, complete with fresh fruit and breakfast pastries, to showcase his relaxed collection of easy chic. Models meandered around tables to the jazzy strains of Raphael Gualazzi, who performed live at the show.
The Mantuan tailor turned out short, loosely cut three-button blazers, which looked athletic yet elegant when combined with roomy, tailored pants. Borrowing from street culture, Corneliani did his version of luxury T-shirts, employing graphic prints and extra-thin leather or cashmere, and paraded an oversize parka with big pockets.
A palette hinged on various shades of cream, sage and gentle blues accentuated the collection’s smooth-operator spirit.
