The Trussardi company relaunched its Tru Trussardi contemporary line with a runway show at Milan’s Magazzini Generali club. The show, which included both men’s and women’s wear, featured a special soundtrack — French singer Cécile Cassel, aka HollySiz, performed live, while the models were walking on a catwalk positioned at the center of the dance floor. The young, urban men’s offering included a range of casual attire, such as comfortable cotton pants worn with printed T-shirts or shirts in micro-geometric patterns. Most of the looks came topped with washed leather bombers, parkas and nylon Windbreakers. Creative director Gaia Trussardi also introduced a tropical inspiration via banana and palm patterns shown, for example, on a sweatshirt with matching jogging pants, which also peppered the women’s range, as evident on a denim jacket worn with a skirt in sorbet colors.
