There was a steamy, Jazz Age vibe to Gaia Trussardi’s presentation: Some models even carried trumpets as accessories.

Stripes thick and thin covered looks ranging from zip-front cardigans to three-piece suits worn with open-neck shirts, while Trussardi nudged some of her suits into sporty territory, slipping in drawstring trousers that gathered gently at the ankle or bomber-style jackets.

The house’s trademark leather surfaced in textured jackets, a suit the color of caramel, and olive suede slip-ons with a chunky white sole.
