Uman’s minimalist approach consisted of three looks, or layers, as Pietro de Angelis, the brand’s style coordinator, called them. Wanting to serve the wardrobe needs of the travelling man, the luxury men’s wear label proposed an ultra-soft two-piece track suit from fine 120/2 wool jersey, which was topped with a two-piece suit, featuring a detachable multi-pocket mesh waistcoat for thermal insulation.
The third layer consisted of the water-repelling “Solaris” jacket with a flurry of pockets running up and down the multi-tasking piece. “The idea is that you can travel without any luggage,” de Angelis explained. All items came in navy, “the most democratic color,” he said.
