Richard James Men’s RTW Spring 2016

The designer showcased a rainbow of greens – banana leaf or lime for linen jackets, chartreuse Bermuda shorts, and belted teal suede coats.

Jungle love is blooming across London’s runways, and nowhere was that more apparent than at Richard James, where design and brand director Toby Lamb employed rich tropical tones and prints inspired by crawling vines and bougainvillea.

The designer showcased a rainbow of greens — banana leaf or lime for linen jackets, chartreuse Bermuda shorts and belted teal suede coats. An abstract creeping vine print crawled over suits in lime, orange and blue while purple and green bougainvillea blossomed on other suits and slip-on shoes.

More pops of tropical color came in the form of a short suede jacket – the color of a ripe cherry – and a silk shantung suit in pale gold green.
