Emanual Ungaro chief designer Estrella Arch said she looked to the founding couturier’s legacy for her pre-fall lineup. To wit: Polka dots were splashed throughout the collection — oversize on a long-sleeve dress or exploding into a big dotty bow on the shoulder. Tweeds bonded onto Neoprene, sturdy wool blends and silk moire were used to create rounded shapes, too. And her long, lean dresses folded up to transform into little draped black dresses.
