Hannah MacGibbon’s pre-fall collection for Chloé focused on comfort, with elements of Seventies charm. She returned to her beloved khaki and beige tones and added rich autumnal pops (burnt orange, deep browns) on baggy corduroy pants, ribbed knits and striped blanket capes and coats. The main print in the lineup — a paisley motif reminiscent of antique wall paper or old-school silk ties — was worked in allover looks on funnel-neck blouses with matching skirts. The collection was rounded out with some great leathers, i.e. stiff A-line skirts and a creamy sheepskin parka coat, but, chances are, the most desirable item will be the vegetal-dyed, chunky-heeled boot.
