“Pulled together, but not ladylike. Preppy but not girly.” That’s how creative director Marco Zanini described pre-fall at Rochas, where he paired rich fabrics with easy, wearable shapes. A wool and Lurex sweater featured gold lamé cloqué insets, which were also added to a knee-length skirt for an opulent yet casual effect, thanks to two large flat pockets on its front. A more subdued sparkle was found in a golden abstract print Zanini used on a feminine silk and wool coat and a pleated skirt. Evening pieces included a sensual, fitted silk faille skirt draped with silk tulle, worn with a matching innerwear-inspired top.
