Inspired by Flemish paintings, Cédric Charlier’s pre-fall collection was “all about creating an illusion.” Obsessed with the body, he focused on exposed seams on sexy frocks and dresses with multiple layers and exposed linings in a mix of fabrics. For day, trousers came either printed or in jacquard, while a range of standout knits looked anything but basic. Outerwear ranged from a fanciful pink shearling coat with leather sleeves to a chic yellow coat with drop shoulders.
