Alexander Lewis went for a “clash of cultures” for pre-fall, merging London, where he’s based, with East Los Angeles and Aztlán, the home of the Aztec, as references. Lewis worked the seemingly disparate aesthetics with a soft hand, i.e., a silk plaid coat worn with boyish pants and a knit sweater with the word “Mamacita” across the front.

Elsewhere, chain-link was a key motif, appearing as a knit for tops and a pattern on a jacquard jacket.
