Matthew Williamson’s collection took a structured turn for pre-fall with strapless, textured cotton cocktail dresses and floor-length gowns that had corsetlike belts and sculpted, tulip-shape skirts.

Williamson also offered a bold take on his signature prints, with a William Morris-inspired design made up of images of parakeets, ivy, mushrooms and cocktail glasses — a nod to the decadent Bright Young Things of Twenties London. The motif appeared on both his evening looks and youthful daytime separates, including biker and bomber jackets and zippered miniskirts, all done in smooth Neoprene.
