Ornithology served as a starting point for Angela Missoni’s pre-fall collection. The house’s signature patterns were reworked to evoke multicolored plumage on looks such as a micro cape worn over a maxi cardigan and ample pants, both in knitted Lurex. The structured sleeves on a knit wool jacket were meant to resemble wings, while several pieces — a minidress, silk skirt and knit cardigan — were done in plissé to evoke movement.
