With DKNY’s 25th anniversary right around the corner, creative director Jane Chung delivered a lineup of easy to wear shapes with a dash of nostalgic kitsch. Amid the many sporty riffs, for example, a sheer organza bomber jacket was worn over a “25” logo sheath. Chung also looked to surf culture, translating the requisite tropical floral prints, surfboard stripes and Neoprene into an urban-ready lineup. The florals became a broken geometric pattern on blouses and track pants, while the stripes on a tank dress were formed with bands of matte jersey, coated cotton and a rubberized Neoprene to great effect.
