For Marchesa Voyage’s first pre-fall collection, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig traveled, creatively-speaking, to summertime in early 20th-century Deauville. The theme has been explored by several other brands in the past but rather than sailor stripes, the designers honed in on breezy fare, such as a pretty pleated, botanical-print tea dress with lace insets and a little white number with lingerie details.

 

On the more structured end, there were men’s inspired shirts, tailored jackets with brocade-like stitching and jeans that came elaborately embroidered or textured to loosely resemble python skin.
